UNESCO: Distant Education in Engineering

In accordance with plan of activities UNESCO  Chair “Distance Education in Engineering” the International Forum “Information-Communication Technologies and Higher Education – priorities of Modern Society Development” will be held in Saint Petersburg on May 26-30, 2009.

 The intention of Forum organization in 2009 was approved by UNESCO, Federal Agency on Education of Russian Federation, Commission for UNESCO of Russian Federation, Council of Rectors of Saint-Petersburg Higher Education Establishments and Government of Saint Petersburg.

In the frame of the International Forum will be organized the following:

- Conference on problems of inclusive education in view of information resources globalization

- XII symposium on problems of redundancy in information and control systems

- XII conference on wave electronics and its application in information and telecommunication systems
