The 17th January started in Barcelona the project GERoNIMO or Generalized Electro Magnetic Field (EMF) Research using novel methods. It is a serious EU project that analize the effects of the EMFs in human health with special stress on infants (Mobi-kids) and on intermediate frequencies that are increasing dramatically nowadays. Particularly on infants radiation is twice than on adults.
The study is focused on non-ionizing radiations from the static fields up to the higher frecuencies used in telecommunications and how it could produce neurological effects particularly in the cognitive area, in development and in Alzeimer. Even there are consider aspects such as the effect of antithread doors in supermarkerts.
The team is composed by 19 institutions in 13 EU countries together with Israel.
