Apple is showing us that the best way to collect a massive number of cases and this is by using iPhone and Healthkit. \u00a0In any case this enforce the Health 4.0.<\/p>\n<p>I doubt that all <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Faculties of Medicine and Research Departments<\/strong><\/span> are prepared for this type of clinical research, but for those who are herewith enclose two outstanding research models in US based on those premises:<\/p>\n<p>a) <a href=\"https:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/us\/app\/asthma-health-by-mount-sinai\/id972625668?mt=8\">Asthma from Mount Sinai<\/a>. Showed as a pure clinical symptoms control and care it wants to collect the genome of participants in cooperation with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.23andme.com\/en-int\/research\/\">23andMe<\/a> to understand weather genes play a role in the severity of patients\u2019 asthma attacks or how they respond to certain asthma medications.<\/p>\n<p>b) <a href=\"https:\/\/med.stanford.edu\/myheartcounts.html\">Heart from Stanford<\/a> \u00a0in the States taking into account activity and heart risk analysis following\u00a0the official \u201c2013 ACC\/AHA Guideline on the Assessment of Cardiovascular Risk\u201d[1]. The 2013 guidelines use age, gender, race, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and other risk factor information to provide personalized estimates of 10-year risk of heart attack or stroke (for those aged 40-79) and lifetime risk (for those 20-59). For comparison, 10-year and lifetime risk scores are also provided for someone of the same age, gender, and race with optimal risk factors (total cholesterol 170mg\/dL, HDL 50mg\/dL, systolic blood pressure 110mmHg, no smoking, no diabetes, no medication for high blood pressure).<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TMI5gkg0G5Y\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nMagic number are taken into consideration such as:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>\u00a0\u201cHeart age\u201d<\/strong> is based on matching your personal <strong>10-year risk score<\/strong> to optimal risk score. More risk factors increase your heart age.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>10-year risk score<\/strong>, it applies to ages 40-79. In general, a score &gt;7.5% is considered high and warrants discussion with your doctor. There may be other medical or family history that can increase your risk and these should be discussed with your doctor.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lifetime Risk Score<\/strong>: This is based on data comparing risk factors and the likelihood of developing heart disease or stroke over a lifetime. In the US, approximately 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will develop cardiovascular disease in their life.
